Meet Julia

Adolescent and Young Adult Clinical Psychologist

Julia is a Clinical Psychologist, based locally in Canberra. After completing her Master’s Degree of Clinical Psychology at the Australian National University (ANU), she now works with Medicare, EAP and NDIS clientele. Julia is registered with Medicare, so her Medicare clients can receive rebated psychology sessions with a referral from their GP. 

Julia takes a warm and individualised approach to her therapeutic work, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). In her work, she also likes to incorporate various techniques from self-compassion work, mindfulness and motivational interviewing. 

Julia specialises working with adolescents and young adults. She primarily works with those experiencing a range of anxiety and depressive symptoms, relationship and social challenges, grief and loss, emotional regulation and adjustment difficulties, and stress-related challenges. Julia also has experience working across neurodivergent populations, seeing clients with ASD and/or ADHD diagnoses.
